Anna Faris (“The House Bunny”, “Observe and Report”, “Scary Movie”) and Chris Evans (“Not Another Teen Movie”, “Fantastic Four”, “Sunshine”) are set to star in director Mark Mylod’s (“Entourage”, “United States of Tara”) Jennifer Crittenden (“Simpsons”, “Everybody Loves Raymond”, “New Adventures of Old Christine”) and Gabrielle Allan (“Scrubs”) scripted film “What’s Your Number” for New Regency and 20th Century Fox, based on Karyn Bosnak's best seller "20 Times a Lady." Pic is about a young woman and her womanizing next door neighbor who decides to re-visit all her ex-boyfriends in the hopes of finding the man of her dreams.
Robin to star in ‘Arkham Asylum 2’

The Boy Wonder himself is said to make an appearance in Rocksteady’s sequel to blockbuster hit “Arkham Asylum”. Robin going to be voiced by Vincent Martella (“Phineas and Ferb”, “Final Fantasy XIII”), while Kevin Conroy (“Batman: The Animated Series”, “Max Payne 2”, “Justice League”) and Mark Hamil (“Batman: The Animated Series”, “Metalocalypse”, “Robot Chicken”) are said to be returning to voice Batman and The Joker, respectively. Also making an appearance in the sequel will be Two-Face, to be voiced by Bruce Greenwood (“Double Jeopardy”, “Thirteen Days”, “Star Trek”).
Alice leaves competition in dust

The number one film over the weekend at the box office was Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland”. Pulling in over $116 million, it dominated over second place pic, Antoine Fuqua’s pic “Brookyln’s Finest”. “Finest” pulled in $13.3 million in its opening weekend. The top 10 were:

Japan not happy about ‘The Cove’ win

"This film has mistakes of fact," mayor Kazutaka Sangen told local press. "I'm surprised that it won the award even though its content is not truthful." This is the response to the Best Documentary win at the Academy Awards for “The Cove”, the documentary about the mistreatment of dolphins in the Japanese port city of Taiji. If you have not seen this picture yet, I would recommend you get out and do so today. If, for nothing else, to see the ‘gorilla’ style of filmmaking that the crew displayed in getting the footage for the film.
